Bass-baritone Frederick Long is garnering an international reputation for bringing vivid communication to both the operatic and concert stage. This season sees him performing Messiah with O/Modernt in Stockholm, and Christus in both the St John Passion (Yorkshire Baroque Soloists) and the St Matthew Passion (Irish Baroque Orchestra). He also launches a recording of the "Dublin" Messiah, also with IBO, and performs the role of Jesus in Arvo Pärt's Passio at the Paris Philharmonie.
