Bass-baritone Frederick Long is garnering an international reputation for bringing vivid communication to both the operatic and concert stage. Recent performances as Christus in the St Matthew Passion with the Irish Baroque Orchestra were hailed by the Arts Desk as a "revelation" and "inspirational". This summer he makes his debut in the Leipzig Bachfest with the Thomanerchor and Gewandhaus Orchestra.
